In 1956 the Fiji Arya Samaj at its Golden Jubilee Celebrations took a historic decision to establish a University College. After 44 years of vision, the dream became reality in 2004. The University opened on 14th March 2005 with 180 students and was officially dedicated to the people of Fiji on 5th March 2006 by the Prime Minister.
